Toni and Eoin’s Kilkea Castle wedding was a stunning family celebration of love. Set in the surrounds of one of Ireland’s most historic and romantic castles. It was a treat to return to perform some Kilkea Castle Wedding Photography at Christmas time. To see all the decorations in all their glory. The couple chose Kilkea Castle as the location for their wedding because of its rich history and breathtaking beauty.

The wedding day itself was a fun and relaxed affair. Toni lookined stunning in a classic white ballgown and Eoin handsome in a tailored suit. The ceremony took place in the castle’s Baronial Hall. Family and friends looked on as Toni and Eoin exchanged vows and rings. The couple threw in a surprise Baby Naming Ceremony for their little one. This went down a treat with their guests.

Following the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed a fun drinks reception in the castle itself. The dinner was served back in the Baronial Hall after.

One of the great things about a Kilkea Castle wedding is that you don’t have to go anywhere for formal photos. We captured family and bridal party photos under the arch to the left of the castle. Then it was just a short stroll around the front of the castle, down to the walled garden and back for the couples photos. Easy peasy.

The reception was a lively affair, with dancing lasting well into the night. The castle’s elegant ballroom was transformed into a dance floor, with the couple leading the way with their first dance as husband and wife.
