I’m Katie
Wicklow + Ireland Wedding Photographer
hello
Ireland Wedding Photographer
Not keen on posing?
I’m married myself, to the lovely Darran. We got married in June 2019. So believe me when I tell you I know what you’re going through and I know how challenging planning a big (or small) wedding can be!
I know that for many folks the idea of having your photo taken is about as appealing as stepping on lego with bare feet, amirite? But my superpower is making those people feel comfortable and at ease. Making sure you are in your safe zone around me means we can get those beautiful, natural, candid shots that truly capture how you are feeling on your wedding day. Actually, this is the trick behind EVERY one of the shots all over my website made for people just like you.
It’s not all about you…
If I’m really honest, a wedding day isn’t just about the couple. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a big part of the day. But there are so many small stories going on that make up the true meaning of the day. And that’s what I’m there to capture. Of course, I’ll get the family photos, and the group photos and the walking down the aisle photos but what you really want, and what I hear time and time again from my past couples is that it’s the candid, real, unstaged wedding photographs that mean the most to them.
“Katie was not just our photographer, but also our adviser, source of moral support, fixer, runner of the entire show (seriously) and so much else all along the way. She has boundless energy, talent and exudes such great vibes all around.”

How I work
Lucky for you, my style of photography is very relaxed and laid back. I’ll tell the real story of a wedding day and make your day go as smoothly as possible. There will be some posing, but not much. I’m more of a ‘put you in a flattering pose and have a chat’ kinda photographer rather than the ‘stand there, look at me, now laugh’ kinda photographer.
Of course, I’ll get the family photos, and the group photos and the walking down the aisle photos, but what you really want, and what I hear time and time again from my past couples, is that it’s the candid, real, unstaged wedding photographs that mean the most to them.
