Waterford Medieval Museum Wedding Photographs – Tara & Brian
So when your sister-in-law-to-be asks you to be wedding photographer you say NO! I kid, I said yes! Of course, I did. Like how do you write about a family member’s wedding and not say it was the best wedding ever? Waterford Medieval Museum Wedding Photography
Tara & Brian planned their wedding to be just like them. Laid back and fun. Their focus was on good food, good music and just people having a laugh. And man did we laugh, some of us laughed our selves off a chair in the wee hours (Not looking at you Leanne) and some of us shouldn’t have bothered booking a room in the hotel. It was that kind of wedding.
Waterford’s Medieval Museum was the perfect setting for their wedding. They chose to get married at the end of October, on Tara’s birthday, cause that’s how she is, it’s easier to remember one date than two. The Theatre Royal was the perfect backdrop for post-ceremony photographs with the bridal party as Storm Brian (how apt) raged on outside. It was on to the Majestic Hotel in Tramore for the reception. It was time for me to put the camera down and be a guest. I snuck some shots from the dancing, don’t judge them too much, I may have had a couple of fizzy beverages at that stage.
Being a Wedding Photographer means you don’t get to socialise as much as you’d like at your friends and families weddings but it’s a different kind of enjoyment when you shoot their weddings. It’s a special thing to be able to document your loved ones special day.
Thanks for having me Tara & Brian x
