Slane, Meath Wedding Photographer – Amanda & Chris

Slane Meath Wedding Photographer

Amanda & Chris were married in Amanda’s local parish church. They held their 60 person reception in The Conyngham Arms, Slane, Meath. Chris, is a self confessed ‘not a camera person‘ which I always see as a challenge.  Slane Meath Wedding Photographer

Meath Wedding Photographer – Prep

The day started with the boys ‘prepping’ for the wedding. For Groom prep I tell the guys to be half dress, shirts and pants but no ties. And usually when I arrive to the Groom’ss party they all hop in the shower. Chris was no different 😉 I’ve no expectation from Groom prep, it’s more an opportunity to get everyone comfortable with me and maybe catch some unguarded moments between the Groom and his mates.

I skipped on down the road to Amanda’s home house to capture her getting ready with her family and friends. It was a casual enough affair in Amanda’s house which is always a good sign, it sets the tone for the rest of the day.

Wedding Ceremony

Their church ceremony was intimate and personal to the couple. Amanda’s mam did the decor the ceremony, with personal readings throughout. The couple opted for a confetti exit as well as an icecream van in the church grounds. The guests (and I) loved it.

Meath Wedding Photos

We stopped on route to the venue for a quick couples portrait session. Amanda and Chris do the river walk in Slane most weekends, with their daughter, so we thought it was the perfect spot to hang out and get some solo time for the couple.

Slane Meath Wedding Reception

They hit the ground running, the party was in full flow when they arrived to the Conyngham Arms, Slane, Meath and man did they enjoy themselves. That’s enough for me, I’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking. Thank you so much Amanda & Chris for having me.
