If you’re a regular round here you won’t be surprised to hear that Sophie & Sacha’s day started in a very relaxed manner in the Alex hotel, a short stroll from the National Gallery of Ireland. Sophie got ready with her bridesmaids & son Felix, Sacha with his groomsmen. But they nipped between the rooms, so there was no hiding from one another in the morning.

The couple opted for a first look in the hotel, followed by a walk to the National Gallery of Ireland were we were allowed to stroll around the gallery and visit some of their favourite artworks. Unfortunately, contractually, I’m not allowed to share any of the photos that feature artworks in them so you’ll have to just imagine the couple walking in the Shaw room with The Marriage of Strongbow and Aoife in the background (to name a few of the rooms we visited).

Their ceremony was next door in Number 5 South Leinster Street with their close friends and family. They had a small drinks reception here before making their way to Fallon & Byrne for dinner, board games and dancing.
