Mount Wolseley Wedding Photography – Caroline & John

Mount Wolseley Wedding Photography – Caroline & John

Caroline and John initially met over a coffee in a crowded staffroom, (they’re both teachers) although things didn’t get serious until much later when John frantically sourced a last minute ticket to a Bruce Springsteen Concert and Caroline took a detour on route to her friends for the Rose of Tralee. Mount Wolseley Wedding Photography

Caroline had recently graduated with her PhD, John whisked her away to France for a well-deserved break. John proposed on the top of the Eiffel Tower as the sun was setting over Paris with a beautiful promise ring from Chupi. Caroline’s cousin and partner were in Paris at the time and it was wonderful to celebrate with them a few days later with lots of Moet and Macaroons (sounds perfect to me). Mount Wolseley Wedding Photography

After six months of persistent rain, the wedding day was glorious. It was a mini heat wave in Carlow that April weekend. Caroline and her gal pals got ready in Mount Wolseley, it was so relaxed. It was like the morning after a slumber party when I arrived. They carried that relaxed vibe throughout the whole day, which is no mean feat with their numbers. It was one big inclusive celebration of John & Caroline but also of their friends and family. Wait until you see Caroline and her dad’s first look! Bawling!!  Mount Wolseley Wedding Photography

When asked for advice to couples planning their wedding, Caroline had these very wise words ‘Some people put all of their energy into planning a wedding rather than planning a marriage, so make sure to keep your priorities in check in the lead up to your big day. Enjoy every moment of your day. Don’t take yourselves too seriously. Concentrate on dancing, laughing and having fun with your friends, family and spouse and you’ll find your guests will follow suit.” Mount Wolseley Wedding Photography
