Kilshane House Wedding Photographer – Amy & Fearghal

It is impossible to have a bad day in Kilshane House. It’s one of the most magical venues in Ireland right now. Even if it’s raining, you’re spoiled for choice for indoor locations for ceremonies, receptions and even photos!

I’ve known Fearghal a long time. I met him 10 years ago when I photographed his sister’s wedding. That was one of my first full days shooting. We had great chats about photography and gear and have followed each other on social media ever since. I met him again last year when his twin sister was getting married. By that stage, I was already booked to do his wedding to Amy and felt like one of the fam!

Amy got ready in her own house which was a bustle of activity the morning of the wedding. I love a busy house on the morning of the wedding, it really builds up the energy and excitement levels for the rest of the day. The couple opted for a church ceremony in Amy’s local parish and from here it was a scenic drive through the hills of Tipperary to the intimate grounds of Kilshane House.

We took a pit stop at the lake before launching in to formal photos so the couple could spend as much time as possible at the drinks reception. They got to catch up with friends and family, before sitting down to dinner in the Orangerie in Kilshane.

The dance floor was well and truly hopping by the time I left and from what I hear, it stayed that way for the night.
