Intimate Waterford Castle Irish Destination Wedding
– Monica & Nate
Monica and Nate met in college, they were friends for a few years before anything happened and after that they were inseparable. Nate got down on one knee (kinda) while snow boarding (how cool is that?). After visiting Ireland last year they knew they wanted to get married here. And so they did, surrounded by about 70 of their closest family and friends who flew in from the States. They had a beautiful ceremony in the great hall of Waterford Castle with the party spilling out in to the courtyard to enjoy some of that beautiful May sunshine we’ve been having. Due to the lateness of their ceremony (4pm) the couple opted to have a first look. You know how much I love those. They also chose to have their group photos done pre ceremony too, which gave them more time to mingle with their guests for the drinks reception. My kinda wedding! The dancing kicked off in style with a first dance, father/daughter dance and a mother/son dance followed by a little bit of dodgy Irish dancing teaching by me. Let’s just say I never took any lessons but you can’t blame a girl for trying! Intimate Waterford Castle Irish Destination Wedding
I had an absolute ball with this pair and their family and friends. Thanks so much for allowing me to share your special day x Intimate Waterford Castle Irish Destination Wedding
