I know Laura & Luke since they were pups. Laura was a right prankster. She’s much chill now though. They had a short engagement and planned the whole thing within a few months. They both got ready at home with their families and bridal parties. It made for a very relaxed morning in both houses. So relaxed, Luke’s mam made me sit down and have breakfast with them before I got to work. They also had the added bonus of their ceremony in St Mary’s Church in Enniskerry, being about a 2 minute drive, always a good idea in my books.

Powerscourt Wedding Photos

Growing up in Enniskerry, Powerscourt is your playground. So we had to stop on the avenue for the iconic view of the Sugarloaf. 2 mins of twirling in the rain and we were back in the car for the next leg of the journey. Luke’s nana couldn’t make the wedding so she watched the ceremony online from the comfort of her bed. We had a quick pitstop for tea and chats there before making our way to Brooklodge for the wedding reception.

The weather was not on my side by the time I got to Brooklodge. We also had some rogue bridal party members so we did what we could. The joy of Brooklodge is that even in the rain, there’s plenty of spots for portraits. I left them to enjoy the rest of their party in the surrounds of Brookhall with their friends and family.
