Dublin is a city that is steeped in history and romance, and there is no better place to celebrate the union of two people in love. Conor and Clare chose the stunning Medley Wedding venue in the heart of the city to host their wedding, and it was a day that was filled with music laughter, and unforgettable moments.

The day began with Clare getting ready at home and Conor at his parent’s house. The excitement was palpable as her sisters helped Clare put on her wedding dresses and chose her earrings.

As the guests began to arrive at Medley, they were greeted by the warm atmosphere that was created by the elegant decor and soft lighting. The ceremony was held upstairs in Medley, and the guests were serenaded by a beautiful rendition of “First day of my Life by Bright Eyes” played by Graham Coe as Clare made her grand entrance with her dad.

The ceremony was a beautiful and touching celebration of Conor and Clare’s love for each other, and the vows they exchanged left everyone in tears. The newlyweds sealed their love with a kiss, and as they walked back down the aisle with their son Charlie, they were met with thunderous applause and cheers.

After the ceremony, the guests were treated to a delicious selection of canapés and drinks downstairs, and the atmosphere was lively and joyful as everyone mingled and chatted. We slipped out for 20 mins during the drinks reception to do some couples photos. We started the gates of Trinity College, where they both attended college. From there we walked through Temple Bar, down the Quays and on to O’Connell Bridge back to Medley. That short loop was enough for them to get their bearings and prepare for the second round of the celebrations, the wedding reception.

The reception was held back upstairs and was beautifully decorated with candles and flowers, and the speeches given by Conor and Clare’s loved ones were heartfelt and emotional. I left them there to carry on the celebrations, and by all accounts it was a right aul session!
