What to do when Covid-19 means you have to postpone your wedding,  Coronavirus Wedding Day!

Hailey’s sister and mother had seen me chatting about my doortraits on IrelandAM and thought it would be a great idea to have me do a special doortrait for their sister/daughter, Hailey, and her husband-to-be Paddy. They were due to get married during the Covid-19 lockdown but had to postpone it until the following year. We decided to surprise them with a surprise (socially distanced) doortrait at the door of the church they were supposed to be married in to mark their Coronavirus Wedding Day. I did a small couples photo session to the side of the church just to give them something to mark the occasion. After the session, they went home to Hailey’s parent’s house, where they’d all been isolating together to a champagne welcome. Luckily for them, Paddy’s brother is a chef so he replicated the meal they should have been having at their Carton House wedding.
