Borris House Wedding

I’ve had more Borris House Wedding than I can count. And every time I go it’s different. It’s honestly one of my favourite wedding venues in Ireland. It helps that Alice & Eoghan had a vision to bring out the outside in and bring best of the house for their wedding day.

Alice & Eoghan travelled over from England, with 190 of their closest friends and family in attendance. Eoghan is local to Carlow, so all the relations were there in their finery. The ballroom in Borris House can hold around 100 guests so Alice & Eoghan added a small marquee to the side for their additional guests. This was the party tent!

A peaceful, calm morning of prep gave way to a fun and exciting day for all the guests. We took a few minutes away from the party to give the couple some time to themselves (and for me to catch some intimate portraits).

This was one of those weddings where I would have stayed all night.
