Best Irish Wedding Photographer 2020

What a year?! Best one yet? It was pretty darn close. I finally got married after 11 years with Darran and we had the best weekend imaginable (you can see those photos here). It was quite different being on the other side of the whole wedding planning thing and has really shifted my focus for the business for 2020 and beyond. I’ve always been about fun, candid and romantic wedding days, and I stand by it, more fun I say! If this slideshow is anything to go by I’d hazard a guess that I’m one of the Best Irish Wedding Photographer 2020!

Trying to pick the ‘Best of…’ every year is like trying to choose between your children (I imagine). There’s plenty of photos I could have included but I tried to keep this one short enough so it’s all killer, no filler. Being a wedding photographer is such a privilege, I get to hang out with the best people on one of the biggest days of their lives. Not only that but I get to tell their story with my photographs. That’s a pretty big deal if you ask me.

In 2019 I shot fewer weddings than usual to make space for my own wedding and many honeymoons. I’m glad I did. I wouldn’t like to look back on the year and not given it the space it deserved, nothing felt rushed and I enjoyed every minute of it. I am so ready to take on 2020 and I can’t wait for the weddings ahead.

A massive thank you and bear hug to everyone who welcomed me into their homes and their hearts this year – it’s been an honour!

Here’s to 2020.
