Holycross Abbey Tipperary Wedding – Mary & Sean

Holycross Abbey, Tipperary &  County Arms Hotel, Offaly Wedding

Sean & Mary, have been together forever. They met, in the Coppers of Thurles, Hayes’ pub when they were both much younger than they are now. Let’s just say, people were waiting a while for this wedding. Good things come to those who wait though right? And by all accounts this wedding was going to be the party of the century. With a massive 260 guests, there was no doubt some kind of party was going to happen. Holycross Abbey Tipperary County Arms Hotel Offaly Wedding

The Wedding Day

The day before Sean & Mary’s wedding it was TORRENTIAL rain. I mean, the kind of rain where you’re not leaving the house unless you really need to kind of rain. Their wedding day couldn’t be further from that. That gorgeous Autumn sun popped it’s head out and shined all day long. Sometimes to my annoyance. Harsh shadows are not my pal. But we worked with it. Holycross Abbey Tipperary County Arms Hotel Offaly Wedding

Everyone was very laid back on the day, a little too laid back at times but sure isn’t that what weddings are all about. I had some craic with this pair, their bridal party, their families and the Liam McCarthy Cup (guest of honour really). We did all portraits at Holycross Abbey, because why would you go anywhere else? I love it there, it always makes for stunning wedding photos. It was then on to The County Arms who always put on an amazing spread, welcoming your guests to the reception. I missed out on the ham rolls this time. I won’t be so slow the next time!

Anyways, enough words from me here’s the pics! Holycross Abbey Tipperary County Arms Hotel Offaly Wedding
