“Boz and I didn’t ask Katie to be our photographer just because she is my cousin. We asked her because she’s super talented, as well as being the kind of person you’d want to hang out with. Katie showed up on New Years Eve and just did her thing (Before she hit the dance floor) She made us both feel so relaxed and our photos definitely show it. She was everywhere and nowhere on the day!! Enniskerry Wicklow Irish Wedding Photographer

Boz and I are so happy with our photos. Katie knows how important family is to both of us and she got some really beautiful shots that we know we will look back on for years to come.

If we were doing it all again, we’d make sure Katie was free before choosing our date.” –  Carol & Boz

This is my cousin Carol. We grew up next door to each, like hop the wall every day next door to each other. Growing up we thought everyone had the same relationship with their cousins. We now realise how lucky we were to have had the childhood we had! Imagine my delight (fear) when she asked me to be her wedding photographer for on her New Year’s Eve wedding in Clontarf Castle.

Enough about Carol and I. Carol and Boz (not his real name but that’s what everyone calls him) met in the Martello on Bray Seafront. It was there they had their first date, and many dates since! Boz got down on one knee and proposed to Carol at home, at the Christmas Tree. Carol is a Christmas baby, so she loves that time of year. “He had booked Adare Manor for January and I was sure he was going to do it then, so I had my nails booked and all. Nope, he did it at home, when I looked like a minger” says Carol. They had a ‘Christmas Day’ out with friends the next day which turned in to engagement drinks.

When it came to the planning, these guys too it real easy. Carol’s dad Noel, is a roofer and carpenter, and he LOVES a project. His motto is ‘Do it right, or don’t do it all’, words to live by if you ask me. Boz runs the Bray Bowl so they had bowling pins as their table numbers, which Noel cleaned, painted and decorated. He also made the beautiful unity candle stand you see in the church below. Carol & Boz didn’t sweat the small stuff. They knew what was important, family and friends coming together to celebrate their love for each other. And if you ask me, that’s the perfect way to approach it.

Thank you so much for trusting me with your wedding photos guys, I had an absolute blast. Shout out to my buddy Ronan Quinn for keeping me sane throughout the day.
